Here at Canine Designs special care is provided for elderly and disabled pets with limited flexibility and/or stiff joints or muscles.

 We fully understand the limitation of these pets and have the skill & patience to work with them.

Our pets bath services include a bath, nails cut & filed, glands and a brush over.

Full grooming includes a bath as above, plus style or clip, fragrance & decoration. 

Poodle styles are numerous and priced accordingly depending on the clients request.

Disabled, elderly or hard to handle pets that require special handling may incur extra charges.

Fragrance & decoration included on all grooms.

GROOMING....3-3 1/2 hours

WHY DOES IT TAKE SO LONG???

Initially on the table, your pet is "roughed in" ...meaning... the length or style is established on the entire pet, including the face, feet, & tail.

The nails are clipped & filed.

The hair in the ears are pulled out & the ears are cleaned.

The pet is then bathed, toweled off & hand dryed, then put on fans to "wick" off any damp spots for 20 minutes & up, depending on the length & heaviness of the coat.

When thoroughly dry it's back on the table. As the bath & dry procedure pulls up & fluffs the coat, the entire grooming procedure, including a reclip,  is then repeated (except for the nails & ears).

The pet is then brushed up, and finished with an overall hand scissor, fragrance, & decoration.

Pets that are matted, have fleas or ticks or are not well behaved on the table cause a further delay in the grooming process.
